He did a fantastic job all-around and I would definitely recommend their services to others + list Fitness Machine Techs as my preferred techs in-future. Thanks, again!!

via GoogleWe called FMT on a Saturday evening - fresh off a full day of moving into our new home - only to find that our beloved Tread was totally unresponsive. Enter Jonathan M., who showed up Monday at noon like a treadmill superhero. He was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. And not only did he fix the issue quickly, he took the time to check out the whole system, explaining what was going on in a way that actually made sense. We feel way more confident using our Tread now…and honestly, kind of wishing all service visits were this smooth. Highly recommend!
via GoogleCame early (called first to see if it was ok), was honest about not needing to replace a part, but priced it out in case I need to in the future.
via GoogleWe have a very old HealthRider S150 which would stop by itself at any time. We could immediately start it but again it would stop. Then it might run for twenty minutes. I hated the thought of sending this big machine to a landfill so I emailed HealthRider and asked for help. Icon, as they are now called, said that they can send a technician to diagnose the problem but cautioned that parts may not be available to fix it. The fee for Non-Warranty service was modest so I agreed. Some weeks later, Dave from Fitness Machine Technicians arrived. He took the hood off the machine and found nothing out of order. The machine now ran normally without stopping. He noted that the machine was plugged into non-grounded outlet and did not have its own circuit, as required. Our apartment building is 102 years old and all outlets are only two pronged. I grounded the plug. Dave asked if I ever lubricated the machine. I thought he meant lubricating the bearings and I replied no. He said the belt has the greatest friction and he used a spray can with a long tube to lubricate the underside of the belt. Dave's diagnosis was that, lacking a separate circuit, perhaps fluctuating loads from other sources on the same circuit could be the cause of the intermittent stoppages. He carefully vacuumed the machine, left me a can of silicone spray, tidied up and left. I think Dave's diagnosis was right. I use the treadmill now only when no kitchen or laundry appliances are in use, and in the daytime when lights are not on. Our machine keeps running. Thanks Dave, for keeping it from some landfill.
