I am a personal trainer. Johnson Fitness is my go-to for equipment, both for myself and for clients.

After losing our favorite treadmill in last year’s fire, we finally made it back to get a new one. Thrilled to find Miami, the dynamic Wilshire store manager who sold us our original one yrs ago, still available to help us.. No pressure just great guidance and patience. And straight up kindness. Funny the things that make a difference as we begin to rebuild our lives. Thank You Miami!

This is the best experience I've ever had buying exercise equipment. Miami is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helped me choose the best treadmill for my needs. The treadmill was delivered quickly and the installation team did excellent work. I highly recommend this Johnson Fitness location to anyone looking to upgrade their equipment (or if you want a massage chair, which is one of the best things I've ever purchased).

Miami from The Santa Monica Store was incredibly helpful. He was eager to hear our exercise needs and limitations in space in our home. We reviewed many options and came up with the STEPR stair climber. Again, he thoroughly reviewed the features of each stair climber and my husband and I were very happy with Miami’s professionalism. I wish i could buy more things at his store because he was so knowledgeable and so patient.

Best local fitness store with tons of equipment and options! What I like is that they have their variety of equipment that you may immediately need here! If it's not here, you always get recommended where you could find it!

Miami, was an excellent sales person Who answers it?All of my questions and gave me thorough insight on the product.I was purchasing. I asked for his insight On the benefits of a massage chair and he answered every question that I had. He definitely needs a raise!

My wife and I had a very good shopping experience. Came in to look at a specific item which, it turned out, did not meet our needs. Miami, the sales person, showed us other similar products - one of which was what we were looking for. The purchase, as well as setting up delivery, assembly and installation, was simple and easy.

A large selection of equipment although somewhat limited to just a few brands. Very helpful store personal. All in all a good experience.

We were charged for two stationary bikes instead of the one we bought last week. This was not noticed until my wife reviewed the receipt today. I was concerned but now that my wife has spoken to the salesperson I've learned there were extenuating circumstances. So I'm satisfied that it was simply an oversight and not an attempted scam. They've refunded the difference to my card and everything appears to be OK now.

I'm writing in support of Miami Guilbeau who provided me with one of the best customer service experiences I've ever enjoyed. I worked with Miami for two months during Summer 2024 as he helped me put together a new home gym with an extraordinary level of professionalism and thoughtfulness. Based on my experience, Miami is knowledgeable, kind, and patient - never pushy but always helpful. Throughout the process, Miami also seemed like someone who is primarily focused on helping his clients achieve their fitness goals while working within their budgetary constraints. Great experience from start to finish. Shopping for adjustable dumbbells and was helped by Miami, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Never felt pressured to buy, he explained pros and cons of different options and once I decided on the Matrix DB 50s he even unboxed them for me to easily take home. Excellent customer service.

I would like to comment on the superior customer service I received when I called and went into the showroom at Johnson Fitness in West Los Angeles. My first exchange occurred when I called the West Los Angeles store to inquire about treadmills and was connected to Miami. Miami listened to all of my concerns and desires and answered all of my questions. My face to face encounter with Miami occurred a few days later after I researched some of the treadmills discussed. Miami was professional, friendly, and courteous. After I, further, expressed other desires, Miami adapted to my unique requests and suggested a different treadmill which, ultimately, became the treadmill of choice. Miami did not try to oversell a product even though the treadmill I decided upon cost more than what I had initially considered; fortunately for me, I decided upon and purchased my treadmill at a time when it was on sale. Miami was patient and understanding. Miami had a pleasant manner and made me feel very comfortable. Miami made me feel appreciated and valued. Miami made doing business very easy. Miami left me feeling totally satisfied! Johnson Fitness has quality fitness equipment; however, it was Miami’s dedication to provide an outstanding client experience that was the determining factor and primary reason that I chose to purchase my treadmill from Johnson Fitness. Quality equipment, service and advice. I dealt with Miami G at the store who took time to understand our requirements and helped us pick the right equipment. I’ve seen the store around for many years and decided to give them a try. Very happy with the outcome and glad I visited. They also installed equipment at the house. This store was incredible! They has so much high quality equipment for any gym fanatic with any budget! Miami was extremely helpful, and helped me find the perfect treadmill I was looking for, and the expedited shipping & setup was INCREDIBLE. I was assigned to Santiago (I believe was his name), and I am so glad that he was the individual setting up the treadmill. Besides highlighting so of the best features, he also showed me how to quickly dissemble in case we need to move it. Overall, HIGHLY recommend Johnson Fitness & Wellness in LA!

Went in Saturday and met with the store manager, Miami Guilbeaux. I was looking for an exercise bike and Miami was very thorough in going through the options. I bought a Matrix R-30-04 and it was just delivered by a professional setup crew today. All around a very good customer experience and I would definitely recommend Johnson Fitness.

Staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. I bought a very expensive recumbent bike. I didn't ride it long enough or check out the functionality in the store. Once delivered, I found it very disappointing for me. I was back in the store the next day. They patiently showed me many alternatives. When I found a cheaper upright that suited me better, they did the exchange, arranging for pickup and delivery, and refunded the difference.
