I was looking for a home gym when I found Gym Tech online. I called and left a message on a Sunday. Lou Benavides called me back within 5 minutes. I was quite surprised t the fast response, especially on a Sunday. Lou was extremely helpful and had detailed knowledge of the equipment. I took his advice and agreed on a Hoist V4 Elite system. He said it would take about 2.5 weeks to deliver and set it up. He was actually a few days earlier than expected and it was a nice surprise. Working with Lou has been very easy and everything he said during the sale was 100% accurate. Lou made the process from beginning to end easy and seamless. I highly recommend Lou and Gym Tech and I will certainly buy my next piece of equipment from them. I also want to point out that the delivery and setup was also painless and simple.

If you need bum equipment, you have to go see Lou at Gym Tech, Woodbury. Aside from being a great guy, he provides great information and fair prices. And in terms of service, he’s top notch. I had a small issue with one of the 2 pieces of equipment I bought. I called Lou and he arranged to have a super qualified technician come over the next day who resolved the issue. You’d be crazy to buy fitness equipment from any other store before you went to see Lou!

I had purchased an elliptical 5 years ago from GymSource and wanted to change and purchase a treadmill. While I was unable to trade in the elliptical, Lou was very patient in explaining the differences between the various treadmills. He helped get my delivery scheduled in a timely manner and followed up after each step. He takes the time to learn what the customer wants to achieve with their purchase so they get the proper piece o equipment.

I purchased a Precor Treadmill from Lou Benavides many years ago. It was time for a new treadmill and I walked into Gym Tech Woodbury and Lou immediately recognized me and said I remember you got a treadmill from me years ago. He was able to guide me into the right equipment for my needs and was able to get delivery set up in a few days. He is knowledgeable and efficient. The reason for the review is that I encountered some problems with the unit and I have never experienced someone more vested in customer satisfaction than Lou. He went way above and beyond to help me himself and ultimately resolved the issue with the manufacturer. In my opinion, Lou is the best resource for any and all gym needs and I will only purchase my equipment from him. Gym Tech is lucky to have someone like Lou.

After 19 years, our treadmill finally gave out and it was time to buy a new one. We went to Gym Tech in Woodbury. Lou was so knowledgeable and professional in helping us decide which model would best suit our needs. We decided on a Star Trac and we are really enjoying breaking it in! It was a great experience all around! The delivery was easy and they did a great job bringing the machine down to our basement and setting it up! I purchased a Precor TRM445 for in-home use from the Woodbury showroom. My salesperson, Lou, was absolutely fantastic. He patiently explained the differences between a few of the machines, and confirmed that I was making the right choice. As was explained at the time of purchase, the treadmill was delivered a few weeks later (today) and set up for me. The delivery guys were also great…they came within the agreed upon time, they assembled the treadmill for me, made sure everything was good, and they left the space clean. Would 100% recommend Gym Tech.

I saw an ad on Facebook about a new fitness equipment store that opened in Woodbury Town Plaza so I decided to check them out. It was a surprise to see that they had the same kinds of brands that I would use at my gym and not some cheap box store brands. Sal walked me through the different options that were available between all the models and explained to me how delivery would work. He assured me that if anything would ever go wrong with the equipment, they had a dedicated service repair team that would take care of it. I ended up getting a Precor Elliptical 885 (the one with the big touch screen console). Later that same week, they delivered the machine to my home and set it up in my extra bedroom upstairs. So far I love the new elliptical and the wife loves it too! I highly recommend Gym Tech for anyone looking to get the more professional quality machines you see in gyms. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and their customer service was phenomenal. Sal was a pleasure to work with and made the entire process a breeze. I heard horror stories with other fitness equipment stores and am happy to say that you don't have to worry about these guys, they are true professionals!

My wife and I recently purchased two Precor elliptical machines from Gym Tech in Woodbury. Our salesperson Robert was super! He was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The showroom was in a nice location, clean and there were many different kinds of elliptical and other machines that you could try out. Robert explained the differences between all of the different ellipticals and helped us find the one that was perfect for our family.The delivery/ installation crew were very nice, efficient and took away any boxes etc.They came when they said they would come and called when they were on their way. When the delivery crew left our home the ellipticals were ready to use. I would not hesitate buying more equipment from Gym Tech in the future and would definitely use Robert for our salesman!
