G&G Fitness Equipment - Columbus

I recently purchased a treadmill from G and G fitness in Columbus. It has proven to be an excellent piece of equipment for my needs. I was originally frustrated with a software compatibilty problem and posted three stars. An unexpected phone call follow up by Kaden this am requires a new five star rating for the company. Great company communication.

I would highly recommend, without reservation, purchasing fitness equipment from G & G Fitness. Our sales professional, Luke Frollini, was incredible! He was very informative, courteous and not pushy at all. It seemed like his main goals were to make sure that we had a great experience in his store and that we would be confident concerning our purchase. He gave us a great deal on our exercise bike! Overall, this was an excellent experience!

I recently went into The Fitness Store in Columbus, Ohio to purchase a treadmill for my in-home gym and the service was superlative! My experience there was remarkable. Jeff White, was the consultant that helped me throughout my experience. He was very attentive and especially knowledgeable about all the equipment in the store. He helped me make an agile and easy decision when purchasing my treadmill with all the informative and excellent suggestions he was able to provide. I did not feel any kind of pressure when making my purchase; Jeff kindly helped me understand and learn all about the equipment before making my final decision. I am definitely coming back to The Fitness Store in Columbus, Ohio to complete some more purchases for my in-home gym. I will unquestionably ask for Jeff again to assist me with my purchases in the future and I highly recommend and suggest everyone else do so as well!

I went in during their “liquidation sale” in a mission to buy one of their most expensive treadmills, the leg press/hack squat, and kettlebell rack. The worker had no idea how anything worked. It felt as though the seat of the leg press didn’t move to transition to the back squat and he just stood there. After asking him to call someone who would know, he went to the back to watch YouTube tutorials, and still couldn’t figure it out. I left him my phone number and name to contact me before the liquidation sale ends. He responded he will. It has since been 3 days past the sale in which I’ve not heard from them. Lastly, i ended up calling Nordic track and talking with their representative who gave me amazing deals Like discounted at home set up and discounted set up if i purchased their NEWEST treadmill. This treadmill went steeper and faster than the one i was going to buy at g and g. It was also 2,000$ less 🙂. Very very very bad luck here or just poor education around their equipment.

G&G was recommended to me by a friend after my treadmill of 18 years died. Luke took into account my budge and the use the treademill would get to give me recommendations. I was undecided for several weeks but each time I emailed Luke with a question he responded quickly. Once I decided on a machine, delivery happened with a couple of days. They were early and were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

I have purchased over $20k of equipment over the past decade. The Inspire home gym I purchased over a year ago has mechanical issues and G&G sent techs out 4x to attempt a repair. Their technician said I’ve never seen this before we should replace it. It’s been over a year now and they still are ignoring my requests for a return. This is the last purchase I’ll be making from this once great store.

My experience with G&G Fitness and The Fitness Store extends back many years. I remember my parents purchasing a treadmill from G&G over twenty years ago and how they raved about the knowledgeable personnel and what a positive experience they had. The customer service was above and beyond their expectations. A few years back they decided to purchase an elliptical to add to their collection. So, when it came time for me to research my fitness equipment, this was the obvious choice. The associates were extremely knowledgeable and very personable which made the experience fantastic. I would highly recommend stopping in even if you are just looking for information, trust me, you will go back.

We were very satisfied with our purchase of a treadmill from G&G Fitness. Jeff was wonderful to interact with. He took the time to really, actually understand and answer our questions, was knowledgeable about all of the products. He was very pleasant the whole time and was a big part of our decision to purchase there. We read the glowing reviews online, decided to give the place a try, and can verify that Jeff and G&G lived up to the reviews. We did have some difficulty with the delivery of the treadmill, though (which is run by a separate company, but is the only contractor G&G works with). We scheduled a delivery window, and the driver called to ask if they could come an hour and a half early, otherwise they wouldn't be able to come until the very end of the day. I hadn't left work yet and couldn't leave to meet them, and by the end of the day I hadn't heard from anyone. We weren't real happy about it, but I called Jeff and he got on the case and got the whole scenario resolved to our satisfaction, hence the five-star rating.

I attempted to purchase a a treadmill direct from the manufacturer for over a month. But they kept putting me off. So, their loss of business was G&G Fitness Equipment's gain. They were able to acquire the equipment I wanted in less than 24 hours. Pick up was not a hassle. Thank you Luke for the great service. And thank you to Ben for great service too!

Luke Frolini was the Fitness Consultant who demonstrated optional treadmill products for me and was very knowledgeable & informative. His assistance helped me make an informed decision, even after looking at competitive equipment & stores in the Columbus area. There was no typical sales pressure, so I was comfortable in discussing cost-benefit issues. A delivery date was promised and met. The delivery team was very professional and efficient, taking great care not to damage furniture & walls bring the treadmill into my house. Strongly recommend The Fitness Store in Columbus, as well as Luke for his assistance.

This is my first experience with The Fitness Store. My parents recommended it to me after the purchase of their treadmill and elliptical. I talked to Gordie on the phone. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. He was very clear about pricing, helped me order my new treadmill and scheduled delivery and disposal of the old broken one. The delivery went perfectly! They arrived a little earlier than they said they would (who doesn't appreciate that?). They were in and out in 20 - 30 mins with the old one in tow. I LOVE my new treadmill and would recommend The Fitness Store to anyone in the market for high-quality fitness equipment!

I was in your store about a week ago and was waited on by Jeff. His customer service was incredible!!! Every question I asked him, he had the answer. Before I came into the Fitness Store, I was at Dick's Sporting Goods. The salesman there had no knowledge in any of their equipment or accessories. Jeff answered every question I had and thanks to him, my workout is more dynamic. I will definitely refer my friends and family to go see Jeff at your Dublin store.

The staff at The Fitness Store, notably Gordie Gronkowski, was not only knowledgeable about the Synergy 360 piece of equipment I purchased, but was prompt in delivery and follow-up. I was so satisfied with my purchase, I referred my dad to the Fitness Store and he bought a treadmill and a universal home gym from the company, as well. I highly recommend The Fitness Store for Central Ohio's fitness equipment needs.

I have to say that purchasing workout equipment was a long process for me. I wanted to make sure that I was getting exactly what I needed for the right price. Jeff was absolutely the best! I recently purchased some items from the store in Dublin, OH, and I was impressed by their inventory of equipment on hand. I initially dealt with BJ and I must say BJ tried his best, but I'm not sure on his level of knowledge concerning the equipment and fitness in general (didn't really look the part.) I came back to pick up my items and Luke was there. What a nice guy with a ton of knowledge. He was extremely accommodating and very professional. Was originally planning to purchase an indoor cycle bike from G&G for several reasons (the top 2 being that I was ending my gym membership and I have young kids at home so wanted a quality exercise machine at my house to be able to easily workout when they are napping). I started my research in September and was originally greeted with great customer service from Ben at the store. We discussed a few options and I let him know I'd come back in a couple weeks to make a purchase. Returning today I encountered unfortunately terrible customer service from another employee (unfortunately forgot to write down his name). To list a few examples about the lackluster engagement: - Had to ask him to put on a mask when interacting, and though did put one on, scoffed at the request initially until I stated that the request was because I'm trying to protect my young children - When asking questions about the lifecycle IC6 bike couldnt provide any detail as he didnt know the product - When trying my cycle shoes on and finding out they are not compatible with the IC6 pedals, his response was that I'd have to research and get new pedals or new shoes and didnt offer any assistance - When inquiring about inventory availability indicated that the bike was on backorder, their inventory wouldn't arrive until end of year, and all requested bikes were already spoken for. He didnt indicate when another order would be placed or asked for my contact information or offer to call or email when when inventory would come back in I felt like I had made it clear that i was serious about purchasing a bike today and instead of working with an engaged fitness consultant to achieve my goal, I got the impression from him that he and G&G didnt need or want my business. As a result, I walked away from the store and have taken my business elsewhere.

I came into G&G to look at some different options to start my at home gym. The salesperson was extremely helpful, and was very knowledgeable. He suggested a few different options and never made me feel too pressured into buying on the spot, which I really liked. I will be back, and definitely send any of my friends looking to buy even smaller basic things here as well!
