From the moment I walked in, it was clear this store operates at a much higher level than the typical fitness equipment retailer. Byron, our salesman, was absolutely outstanding. He took the time to walk us through every piece of equipment we were interested in, explaining not just the features, but why each one mattered and how it would realistically fit into our goals. His knowledge was extremely impressive—no pressure, no rushing, and no sales gimmicks. He answered every question thoroughly, broke down differences between comparable machines, and made sure we truly understood what we were buying. You could tell he genuinely cares about matching people with the right equipment, not just making a sale. Gilbert, the manager, was equally fantastic and played a big role in making the entire process smooth and stress-free. He stepped in when needed, helped guide decisions, and ensured everything was handled professionally from start to finish. Having a manager that is present, attentive, and supportive says a lot about how this business is run, and Gilbert absolutely exemplifies that. What really stood out to me was the overall professionalism, transparency, and customer-first approach. We stopped at Fitness Specialist to look at a few pieces of equipment for our home gym, and I'm so glad we did! Deidrick and Byron were super helpful and knowledgeable about all of the equipment, and they made shopping there so much fun. Importantly - they weren't pushy at all! That's a quality that will keep us coming back. There is a huge selection of equipment, so no matter what size gym, there's something that will work for your space. They let us try lots of pieces, helped us identify things that had the functionality we want, and even told us about equipment they anticipate getting in that might work better for us. If they don't have something, they'll look around and try to get it. Shipping is very reasonable for large equipment. We purchased a few small items and one large piece of equipment. They kept our info for when the next item we want is in stock. We will definitely be back!

Gilbert and Byron did an Amazing job!! Came in to get some prices for a home gym and they went above and beyond to make sure we knew exactly what we’re getting into! They got us priced out and set up! So informative, helpful, and kind!

Derick and Byron were as professional as you can get .I appreciate their patience in setting up the exercise equipment in small spaces . They are good at what they do . Not to mention when I had a problem with a plug on a 3 year old exercise machine Albert McBride came to the house and repaired it when no one else could!!!!!

Highly recommend Fitness Specialist! Our company worked with them on getting our gym equipment replaced over the last year for our apartment complex. It took lots of planning and budgeting! I had no idea where to even start but, they were so patient with us, beyond helpful with all of my questions, extremely thorough and attentive it truly could not have been an easier process. I worked with AC and Amanda over this course of time and I'm so thankful for them and how well they executed this project for us. The new equipment is amazing quality and just looks and feels so much better than before. I feel SO confident and proud of our new gym, and it wouldn't have happened with out Fitness Specialist we are so grateful!

I've been in the fitness industry in Lubbock since 2018 and Fitness Specialist has been my go-to for top of line equipment here in Lubbock. I bought my Inspire squat rack from them and it was swiftly put together and delivered by Byron Moore and the rest of crew. From my squat rack, barbells, kettlebells, Air Assault Bikes, and other exercise equipment, I cannot recommend them enough. You get exceptional customer service with them along with true professionals in every sense of the word.

Excellent experience! Have worked with these gentlemen twice now and both times had excellent service! The two gentlemen that delivered our machine - Detrick and Gilbert - answered all our questions, were so professional and set our new treadmill in place so we were ready to go. Absolutely recommend!

These guys are awesome. I bought a treadmill with them a little over a year ago. It's a great piece of equipment. They delivered it, set it all up for me, and when I had questions later about how to function it talked me through everything I needed to know. Last week I moved into a new home. D and B came out and took the machine apart, moved it, and set it up in my new house. They were utterly professional and wonderful. Working with this company has been nothing but positive.
