Fitness Machine Technicians

The technicians were excellent and very professional. I have worked with a couple other fitness equipment techs before and these gentlemen were the most professional out of all my experiences. They did a great job assembling my home gym, which was delivered in 100 pieces when I used a separate company to help relocate to a new address. They also noted some opportunities for maintenance on my equipment, which I appreciated, without being forceful or pressuring me into a decision.

I am very pleased with Fitness Machine Technicians. This is the second time that I have used them to help with my in-home gym equipment. Sebastian was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained everything that was going on with my Treadmill in a way that I could understand. He gave recommendations and I appreciated that greatly. Fitness Machine Technicians disassembled my Assault Pro Runner treadmill in preparation for a move, then reassembled it at my new place once I moved in. Sebastian was a fantastic communicator throughout the whole process, from texting to let me know when he would arrive, to providing photos of the process, to getting the treadmill in the best shape for the professional movers to carry over in their truck. After the reassembly at the new place, the treadmill sounds better than it ever did after my own initial assembly! I’m so glad I planned for this service to be a part of my move. Because my treadmill is assembled, my daily exercise, this one critical part of my daily routine can continue while I unpack boxes and get settled! Communication from the whole team is good, and the prices seem very fair for this skilled service. I highly recommend Fitness Machine Technicians!!

I was drawn in by the glowing 5-star reviews and decided to use this service for my treadmill that was having issues. Big mistake. They charged $150 just to come out — 15 minutes of work — and told me it needed repair. Fine, I expected some cost. But the quote they sent back was $570 on a treadmill that costs $699 new. Here's the breakdown: • Walking belt: marked up ~200% over retail • Drive belt: marked up ~300%+ over retail • Shipping on marked up parts: $30 • Labor: $200 And this is ON TOP of the $150 diagnostic fee I already paid, meaning the total would have been $720+ to repair a $700 treadmill. I did my own research on parts pricing online and the numbers don't lie. This is predatory pricing plain and simple. I'll either be doing the repair myself or junking the machine. Buyer beware.

Sebastian and Dale assembled our new functional trainer, were extremely professional and offered several pointers on keeping our new gym equipment in perfect working condition. They had us function test the equipment and tuned it to reduce slack in the pulleys from the handles. If we need other equipment service, we're calling them.

My treadmill has been broken since January. Once a month they come out with a new piece to "fix" it. We are now in over $1000. Today was supposed to be out.... but wouldn't you know, another piece is apparently wrong and we got another error code. One of the biggest issues os the inability to talk to someone on the phone. They don't answer, just tell you to email. The technician is polite but honestly... we are wondering at this point of we are being scammed. We could've bought a new treadmill for the cost we've paid. We are now considering our options. We can't find another company and we now can't afford a new treadmill because that money is in the trash basically. I suspect what will happen next is next week we will get an email with a quote for yet another $500. IF we pay, we will wait another month... (they will say 7-0 business days). I will then have to email them daily for an update. They will then say "oh sorry, that part was on [backorder, taking longer to ship, insert other excuse]." A week after that we will finally get an email saying it's in and confirm the date they chose to get it fixed. We may have to escalate to the BBB at this point. I'm at a genuine loss... and not just of money. Edit:... because it just got worse. The motor, apparently, was under warranty and we shouldn't have had to pay for it according to Sole. So we didn't have to be out that $600ish but now we are... and looking at another $250 in parts alone. Yall really screwed us over in this one.

This was my second experience with FMT and specifically Sebastian. They have been fair in their dealings and helped me get my treadmill back in working order. Sebastian is a very personable and professional guy and I really enjoyed working with him.

Dale came to provide maintenance on my 15 year old treadmill. He performed excellent work and taught me how to properly lube my machine. He was polite and friendly. Excellent service

A technician was scheduled to come diagnose an issue I was having with my exercise bike. Eric C came to my home; he was professional and cared about the issues I was having with the equipment. He was able to recommend a replacement for ny bike, which alleviated future stresses dealing with the bike. Overall, I’m happy with the service I have received and will continue recommending FMT to handle my fitness equipment needs.
