Fitness Machine Technicians

We own a treadmill that we purchased from a sporting goods store a few years ago. My daughter is the only one who uses it, and this week it started making unusual noises and giving off a burning smell. I decided to look for a local company to either repair it or let me know if it was beyond fixing. I called Fitness Machine late at night and left a message. They returned my call the next morning and were at my house that same afternoon. The technician, Gary, was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained the issues with the machine. He was detailed and professional during the inspection. It turned out the treadmill just needed some TLC, which Gary took care of. The quick response, expertise, and attention to detail were exceptional. I’ll definitely be signing up for a maintenance service with Fitness Machine. Gary, I really appreciate your help!

Great service - if it wasn't for this company, it would be incredibly hard to find technicians available to work on a commercial grade treadmill in a residential building. The facts that they've been very thorough, and let us know of options that are under warranty, are huge bonuses!

Gary and his team were professional and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend his company, Fitness Machine Technicians. I have a 5-year old treadmill in my basement. On New Year’s Day, the speed buttons stopped working correctly. The following week, they came to my home and my treadmill was running like new before they left. They worked quietly and efficiently while I worked from home. When done, they explained everything they did (recalibrate the motor control and the main control board). They even did some preventative maintenance and lubricated the belt. We tested everything before they left. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced their services were. I recently obtained a used commercial treadmill, brought it home and powered it up. All the controls seemed OK. One of the rear balance legs was off and in one of the cup holders. I wasn't sure if the belt needed adjustment. Not knowing the history of the machine, I decided to have a treadmill technician examine it and make any needed repairs. I searched online and found Fitness Machine Technicians Western Connecticut. Gary the owner and his apprentice Anthony arrived on time and I told them my concerns. They confirmed the model and serial number, took pictures and began their work. Gary thoroughly checked all the controls and explained all functions. He checked speed and incline in steps. He examined the belt, motor and associated electronics. Finally, they cleaned the unit and installed the rear balance leg. Anthony and I received good instruction on the mechanics and operation of the unit. In particular Gary explained to Anthony how to troubleshoot and fix/repair issues. How the various systems work and interact with each other. I was impressed with Gary's knowledge. Fortunately the machine was in good shape and would only need another PM ( Preventive Maintenance ) check in another year. Gary and Anthony are gentlemen, professional and thorough. Thank-you Gary and Anthony! If I have any problems with the machine I'll be calling Fitness Machine Technicians and you should too! I highly recommend.

These guys are simply “the BEST”. I’ve worked with a few of the people on their team, and they really know their stuff. Skilled technicians, attentive to customers, respectful of property, easy to talk to. Bottom line, they do what they say, including showing up for appointments. I’ll be using them again and couldn’t rate them more highly.

Dennis and Eric arrived promptly on time and proceeded right to the installation of new cables on the total fitness machine. Work was completed in record time. Very professional and courteous.

My favorite workout machine was a "Stairmaster 4600 Stair Climber". About a year ago it started to not sound or feel right. I've never had it looked at or serviced in 18 years & couldn't find anyone who would. Then I found Gary Hamilton at FITNESS MACHINE TECHNICIANS who said they did and would. For a modest fee, he came to assess the problems and the machine. He ordered a new belt and chain & once in, he called and scheduled a time to come back & install. All within a 2 week period !!!! Can't say enough how happy I am to have my Stairmaster under my feet again ~ Very Professional ~ Very Reasonable ~ Will Recommend them every chance I get !!
